5th Feb. Looking at blending learning and the DDA

Session two with Wendy and just been given assignment guidelines. For once not totally shreiking in horror at the prospect :o)

  2. Reflections on activity 3 - making text easier to read. Some of the short cuts are a revelation and will definately save time when working in general. As for using these options and command in teh classroom as my learners don't have PC's my use of them will mainly be in the preparation of resources and when displaying them in the smartboard. Being able to make very quick formatting changes live to a document in class means that differentiation on the spot will be much simpler. The benefit to my learners is not only the obvious inclusion and differentiation but also even for those learners that don't have specific difficulties with text using a variety of formats on screen and on printed handouts will spice up the learning environment is small but effective ways. A very useful session.

  3. Using text pop ups on powerpoint and word, make images must more accessible to learners with a range of disabilities. This is definately a resource for the assignment worth playing around with.
